The DeLuxe Theater is the perfect location for your next event!
We offer two venues at our facility:
The Main Stage
Our Main Stage is a 125 seat, state-of-the-art proscenium theater. Rental fees include the use of the concession stand, box office, dressing rooms, prop storage, lighting and sound equipment. Technical staff is provided through Texas Southern University at an additional cost for every event. Submit a rental requestHERE.
The Gallery Space
Our Gallery Space is a 2500 sqft event room, complete with wet bar and patio area. The Gallery Space will accommodate 150 seated guests and 250 standing guests comfortably. Rental fees include full use of the wet bar and appliances (refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher, wine cooler, and sink), the lobby concession stand and box office. Our venue manager will be on site during your event to assist with your set-up and break-down needs. Alcoholic beverages are permitted, as long as they are not sold. Alcohol service must be provided through a licensed caterer or TABC bar staff. The DeLuxe Theater offers patrons a 75 space parking lot for all events. The parking lot is located behind the building and is accessible at Gregg Street and New Orleans Street. There is also ample street parking available, as well as evening parking options across the street at Lyons Village (with advanced notice). Handicap parking spaces are available on the west side of the building. Valet services can also be arranged for your event at an additional cost. Prices vary based on the number of guests and length of your event.
Security staff is required for all events at The DeLuxe Theater. Security fees vary based on the venue and the length of your event.
We have a recommended list of caterers, however, you are welcome to use your own caterer as well. All caterers must provide proof of proper liability insurance.
We require all events to carry proper liability insurance coverage with a minimum limit of liability of $1,000,000. If you do not have liability insurance, we can assist you in obtaining proper coverage before your event date. All clients must provide proof of liability coverage within 7 days of your event date.

All public printed and online marketing materials using The DeLuxe Theater name (or photographs) must be approved through one of our venue directors before distribution.
